Apache Configuration to forward to Tomcat
I used the mod_jk Tomcat connector module for Apache to do this and it seems to work great.
Is this the best way to handle Apache passing requests for content that Tomcat needs to handle or are other ways to do this that I should look into for better performance?
Can I used mod_proxy to do the same thing and if so how?
Can I use a virtual directory configuration pointing to the instance of Tomcat running on the box?
I am trying to weigh the difficulty level of using mod_jk with the need to duplicate this effort for other team members against the best performing method.
