Is it possible, how would i (detailed instructions if you have time) use this PC as a Linux web server to host websites? I can install any distribution necessary.

I would say 1) don't spam the forums and 2) don't hijack another thread
probably your best bet to get help
as to the original post issue this command from a terminal
Code:sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install apache2 php5 mysql-server
Google is also a good source
ubuntu install apache - Google Search
and for the hijacker because I am here to help
Let me google that for you

Here are my steps to building a server adn installing centos 5...
a good start
it is not anywhere near finished, but the forums here

list more programs with step by steps.
And good luck, it is really a nightmare to do it right and secure....it is not linux per se, but all the multitudes of programs that have sparse or hard to follow instructions for use...but, it is free.!!
