    simple ftp (authorization) problem

    Hi there,
Having managed to setup my MYBOOK II as an ftp server (VFSTPD / Ubuntu) I now have a simple authorization/rights problem.

Say I have added a user KIM, which on the ftp has been assigned the folder

    ~\KIM

I have also added a user called KIM_GUEST, located in

    ~\KIM\KIM_GUEST

In this library I would like KIM as well as his guests to be able to reach files. The idea is that KIM can move specific files (pictures) to the guest-space where guests can get them without having access to the other files of Kim.

As it is now, KIM has got rights to KIM_GUEST (KIM is the user of the KIM_GUEST folder) and when I log in as KIM_GUEST I cannot see the folder! How do I do this? Suppose it has something to do with groups, however being a newbie I cannot figure it out!

Please help this have troubled me for some time.

    /J
