VSFTPD - cannot transfer open files?
If a file is open on the server (e.g. an openoffice document), I am unable to transfer it to the remote computer. The file transfer just hangs. Is this configurable? I didn't see anything in vsftpd.conf.
I am using VFTPD 2.0.6 on SuSE 11.0. My vftpd.conf file is attached.
Cheers,
Chad

This isn't a VSFTPd issue. It depends on what program has the file open and HOW it's opened. Depending on the lock used by the opening program, you may/may not be able to get read access to the file.
