    ideas on SAMBA PDC setup



    hello,

    Anybody knows there how to setup a Local Area Network (LAN) with SAMBA PDC so that all users can log in in any workstation within the LAN we have a mix of windows and linux pc workstation.

    I've done this a couple of times. It's a little involved, and knowing a little about the way Windwos networking functions can be very helpful. The best source of info I found was on the Samba website - this is already well documented better than I can do on a thread like this.

    This page is a pretty good place to start, although there's plenty of other great documentation that may help there.
