    not being able to recieve mails


    Error transferring to ASHKANWEB.COM; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 554 <ashish@ashkanweb.com>: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied

    Does Any one have any Idea what is going on ???
    Will appreciate any help

    Are you trying to send mail from your Linuxsystem to another system or out on the net or are you trying to recive mail from another system on a LAN or from the net??

    recieve mails from outside world, can send out from my system ( using web client for sending /writing mails )

    Thanks for the response.. I am using Postfix which is a defaul install when i installed my Linux Server

    I haven't used Postfix, but in sendmail you have to define which domains to receive mail for in /etc/mail/local-host-names. Probably postfix has something similar.
