bind define .com domain to resolve to .net
Hello people.
I have a bind server with example.net domain defined. Now i purchased example.com and wish to resolve it to example.net when accessed. Do I have to define separatelly the .com domain in bind, or can I add an option or something in the allready .net defined domain zone file?
Thank you very much and have a nice day.

Just create another .zone file for your .com domain, and add it to your dns config in the same way as the .net one. You'll find it much more flexible to set them both separately, and at first you can probably just copy the .net one over. Don't forget to set your reverse lookups correctly too - you might want some IP addresses to resolve to your .com domain and some to resolve to .net.
