    Is this latest samba version samba-3.3.2.tar.tar support CENTOS 5?
    I have just download samba-3.3.2.tar.tar, how do i install it in CENTOS 5?
    Please provide me the step as I 'm new in to Linux environment.

    and in cd /etc/samba , is that will overwrite the existing smb.conf? or have the new smb.conf.new in the /etc/samba folder?
