    Backing up my server

    I only visit the site where the server is once a week and would like to have a backup going offsite during that time. Has anyone any suggestions as to best implement a background backup method perhaps to an internet location tied with a free service (we are a charity and must keep costs down)?

    I have Ubuntu 8.10 server. I have arranged for the power to cut overnight so it's dead 0730pm - 0730am.

    Hey,

    I wold suggest runnig the backup via cron ...( not sure about Ubuntu) and make it
    download to your pc ..etc or attach an another drive on the server and shedule the backups there...
