    I believe the main difference between squidguard and dansguard is that squidguard doesn't actually filter the website contents. squidguard works off dns block lists and you can also filter based on matches in the url (like if sex is in the url block it), but I believe dansguard can filter the actual contents of a page. like if Google had the word sex in its page you can block based on the contents.

    never used dansguard but I believe thats the diff.

    I havn't done that with dansguardian yet. but I think there no such feature in squidguard.
