Linux Proxy Server
Hi
Does anyone have a good guide on how to set up a good proxy server for Feodra 2 (or any distro)
I am planning in getting a proxy server.
The reason is that where I go to College they have Wi Fi but with out any encryption so I would connect to the web via the proxy. The connection to the proxy has to be with encryption of some sort.

squid is the famous proxy server under *inux systems.
but i am afraid it is hard to configure and setup for a newbie.
you can get some documents at http://www.squid-cache.org/

when you say it should have encryption of some sort, what do you mean? users have to log in or something. I don't think this would solve your wifi unrencrypted connection
