ftp servers

what is a good light ftp server that I can easly configure and run on a headless system and configure using only a text ssh system?

I was thinking of using Pure-FTPd

Well, If you are thinking about Pure-FTP then try it..
Well there are many around..you should also see vsftpd.. the easiest one.
