    Squid and blocked URLs

When you setup Squid to block certain URLs, does Squid actually
still download them and just not pass on the results, or does Squid
not even attempt to access those URLs?

    Thanks!

    Squidguard

Hi, i'm kind of new with this but i think squidguard check the url in the blocked categories or the local block and if the url is there it won't try to access it... it will redirect you to the url you type in the redirect url...

    Regards

    JG
