Rebroadcasting webcams through a Linux Server
I have various webcams throughout a building which I would like to rebroadcast through my linux server. I really do not want to punch holes in my firewall to let everyone into the private side of my network where these webcams reside. I would rather punch holes solely for my webserver sitting in my DMZ to get the webcam streams, and then have the linux server rebroadcast them.
Does anyone have a software package or a path to point me in to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance,
Rich

No need for DMZ
mjpg_streamer + iptables (DNAT) should handle your need pretty well.
check out mjpg_streamer at SourceForge.net: mjpg-streamer - Develop
