configure sendmail to not respond to non-existent addresses
Hello,
i have a question about sendmail v. 8.13.8 running on a public mail server. I receive a lot of spam mails directed to addresses that doesn't exist on my server. Can i configure sendmail to not respond to this senders? I see a lot of mail that try to be sent them. And problably there is possibility that my server will be listed on a blacklist i think. Thanks at all.

Is your server e-mail replies saying that the address does not exist? The default Sendmail configuration should not do that.
You will want to stop this as this can lead to be listed on backscatterer.org
Search google for (sorry I can't post links):
Preventing Backscatter
The first link will show you how to disable it in Sendmail.
