All my data resides on my linux box (yay for software raid ). I recently went to windows 7 on my desktop because of the PVR which I couldn't get with my edition of vista. Now in order to map the My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, etc folders to a different location that folder has to be indexed.

Is there a feature in samba or an external application that can build the index file(s)?
