    Where to look?

    Hi Forum, Have Clarkconnect 4.1 (rhel4). Used gui to create new user but their login fails. Where would I look for what I failed to do or did wrong. The new user has email (imap) and password etc. Also folder in home.
    Appreciate some advice on what/where I should check to see what is wrong or missing. regards, Bill

    In what way the login fails? Any error messages? Check if the file/folder permissions are proper.
    Code:
    ls -l /home
    and

    cat /etc/passwd
    and also
