    problem with Apache

    hello everybody,

    I had a problem with apache, it gives me a message error when starting.
    The issue was fixed by un/reinstalled Apache2.
    but now I have another problem that I can't understand.
    when I type in my browser the URL of a site hosted on this server, it suggests downloading this webpage, like when I download a file from an FTP server.

    it worked before the reinstall.

    Any one can help me please ?????
    I work on Ubuntu 9.04.

    I need more info, but you probably need a "AddHandler" line in httpd.conf
    I assume you have a .php or .pl index file.
