    Apache 1.3 - 2

    Hello everyone, Im still a noob with linux and recently i updated my companies backup server from red hat 7.3 to 9.0. The problem is i dont know how to configure apache to look for the .htaccess file. Parts of the site that used to be password blocked are now open to the world. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
