Well, I decided that for the down time, (i get bored easy), I would like to start a web server using Linux. I have Fedora core 1. What exactly must I do?
I just want something small to offer webspace to friends for a small fee...HDD space shouldnt be a problem, I can get crap loads.

First you must make sure you got apache installed, the example/Default configuration is pretty well documented, and there are some good howto and a nice manual.
For fedora, start the packet manager and make sure apache is installed and the administrative front end - then use the administrative front end provided by Redhat/fedora, it should be pretty much straight forward.Regards Scienitca (registered user #335819 - http://counter.li.org )
