Hi folks,

I've recently installed an Ubuntu server (again) and I'm experiencing an issue with proftpd: when I want to connect over ftp using FileZilla, it takes like 10 seconds before it got past the welcome message (which somehow is not shown at all). I've tried to add the following lines in proftpd.conf

IdentLookups off
UseReverseDNS off
which didn't help at all...

Also, I somehow can only connect correctly when using active mode, when using passive mode I get an error stating that the returned answer is untracable.

Does anyone know how to solve these issues?
