Beginners samba
Hi All
I am trying to get my boss to go to linux and send me on a course
to save us money on windows licenses.
I have built a box her in the office with centos and want to get samba up and running. What I need to do is create a share folder that everyone has access too and then some folders in that share that only certain people can access. I know this is probably old hat to some of you but I am new to this and want to get it right to ditch microsoft
Thanks

this might help a bit:
Keep it Simple, Stupid!: Samba 3 Mini Howto using CentOS 5
just make sure to add certain folders to certain groups and dissallow he other user to read/write to the folder.
hope this helps.
