Unable installing OS on VM

Hi folks,

Ubuntu 9.10 64bit

I followed;
Installing VirtualBox 2 On A Debian Lenny Desktop
Installing VirtualBox 2 On A Debian Lenny Desktop | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials

to install VBox and create VM. But I can't install OS (Ubuntu 9.10 64bit) on VM, stuck on 4/7 step complaining;

Code:

No root file system is defined
Please correct this from the partitioning menu

Please help. TIA

check the partition part on the guest OS installation. I think you haven't mention the root partition .
