https://localhost works but https://ipaddress didn't

I have apache running on local machine . I can access a application using https://localhost/app/

but when i use https://ipaddress/app/ it says

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /app/ on this server.
Apache/2.2.15 (Fedora) Server at 192.168.1.5 Port 443

Any thoughts ? Any apache admins/experts here

Post your /etc/hosts file...it should look similar to:

# IPv4 and IPv6 localhost aliases
127.0.0.1	   localhost Icehouse

Icehouse is an alias to localhost...change that only if you have named your machine.

Here its - but it don't have anything related to ipaddress(192.168.1.5) . should i edit localhost to reflect my ipaddress ?

Let me tell you what i'm trying to do. I testing ajaxterm for remote access.
I installed mod_proxy and https SSL on my local machine.I followed the procedure give in Index of /software/ajaxterm

Now I can access using localhost, but when i try it using ipaddress - It gives access denied message. Any thoughts ?

Not much of errors I suppose. Does apache have the permissions to access /usr/share/ajaxterm? Further: does it work when you try to access it directly through http://<host>:8022 ?

Yes.I can access them thought Open Source and Linux Forums and directories owner is root but it's permission 777 but all other files owner is apache.

Do I need to added ipaddress to /etc/hosts? Or change ajaxterm directory owner to apache?
