Error installing from RPMForge
I've been trying to install a few things from RPMForge but I'm having problems due to missing files. I'm completely clueless how to fix this, I have searched the internet for over a week and just cannot find a solution, I also searched these forums before registering and deciding to ask for some help.
For example I went to install memcached and received the following:
This is the result I receive for anything I try to install using rpmforge, I have went onto my server and had a look as I thought maybe it was a permission error however the files don't exist, I have no idea where they have vanished to as just last week I was using rpmforge without a problem and the files existed.Code:yum install memchached Configuration file /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/rhnplugin.conf not found Unable to find configuration file for plugin rhnplugin Configuration file /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/security.conf not found Unable to find configuration file for plugin security rpmforge | 1.1 kB 00:00 Excluding Packages in global exclude list Finished Setting up Install Process No package memchached available. Nothing to do
How do I return these files and fix this issue?

Not sure why you think there is a problem.
Tells you that there is no such package available.Code:No package memchached available.
Have you tried a yum search and found this package?

The reason no package exists is because of the missing files in rpmforge, no matter what I try to install from rpmforge I get the above message no package found.
I have tried to install imagemagick also and got the same message. I can't even uninstall rpmforge and reinstall it as the error still persists using yum update yum etc.

Are you sure you setup the repo correctly? Try this link.

I solved this, basically regardless of what I did two folders were missing from my server. So I went on my second server and took the two folders that were missing and all the contents inside and uploaded them to my first server and everything is working normally. Hope that makes some sort of sense.
