Linux Server Installation (redhat 9.0)
I have installed RedHat 9.0 on my PC as a server, I am not able to run samba or edit the smb.conf file. It is not Editable. Any help to work me through the process will be highly appreciated. I want to be able to add my 3 windows pc to the server and share printer in the server. Anyhelp will be appreciated

Hi Martin.
Could you expand a little on "not editable". Do you mean that you do not have write permissions? You may need to be root to edit the file.
Personally, i find that WebMin is pretty good as a GUI interface for editing the Samba Configuration File. http://www.webmin.com/ it also comes as an RPM, so installing it on Redhat should be a doddle.
