    Remote syslog server problem


    Dears,
    I have problem that my remote syslog server files become too large.its normal size is 2 GB but suddenly it became 14 GB .
    I need to solve this issue how can i troubleshoot and how to bring it back to its normal size?
    I'm new to linux world so ur help is appreciated

    Usually it is a good idea to start with the question: WHO?

    So, did you check who writes that much to your syslog files? Next step would be to find out WHY "who" writes that much to the syslog files and finally HOW you can stop "who".
