Can Squid proxy other application than web 80
I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum for this question. I've searched for squid specific forums and could not find any. I'm looking for an open source product that I can install on linux that will proxy (trying to spoof the IP address) for an application run on my desktop that uses a unique port number.
I know there are many products and free services to proxy your web browsing but I need this for a non html application using a port other than 80. Can squid do this or does anyone know of a proxy server that does?
Thanks.
