Sendmail Question
Hello,
I have a server that I send out messages to myself and others thru an IT mailhost.
Messages internal to the company are fine but if I want to send outside of the company, they get blocked from IT (they must send all mail from root to /dev/null or something). If the mail is sent from a user it works fine but from root it doesn't.
There is a webpage (php) that sends out this simple message. Is there a way to change the from message and not have it come from root or have an alias for root to send as? I don't have access to the IT mail server so I can only make changes on the local box..
Thank you in advance!
