site to site ftp configuration
Hello,
I'm transfering my sites to an other server. To do this, I want to use site to site ftp file transfer. I have tried it with FXP but got error.
I read on internet that the servers are must be preconfigured to do this. The servers must allow PORT Commands. That is what i could find.
So my question is, what are the PORT Commands and how can i make this configurations?
Thank you,

As far as I remember, both ftp servers need to support fxp. The default is "not enabled" for possible dos reasons.
For example, if the ftp server would be vsftp, then the directive pasv_promiscuous would need to be set to yes.
That said: If you have shell access to the machines, then rsync might be the better tool for the job.You must always face the curtain with a bow.
