I have the same issue. I finally have Dovecot and Postfix working with virtual users and SpamAssassin. I would like to use sieve to filter out the marked spam. I have read many pages on it and I am still lost.... how would i implement this setup?
Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for the link. Sadly I am still confused. I have a working server so i want to be careful not to mess it up. I am looking at the Pigeonhole Sieve Interpreter but have yet to work out how to implement it.

OK, so i need to install pigeonhole on top of my already working dovecot. I have found plenty of tutorials but they all assume you have installed from sources. If someone could offer a pointer from this point I would really appreciate it.

you can always install VMware or VirtualBox on your PC, clone your setup and play with the howto on the VM
