Ftp server set up guide
Hi, i am fairly new to linux and i was wondering if anyone can help me step by step set up an ftp server. I am running ubuntu 11.04 on an hp pavilon 742n. i am connected to my network via wireless adapter (netgear wg111v3) i pretty much want ftp access from any machine in the world.
so if it is possible can you go through step by step telling me how to set this up? and if you dont mind not just telling me the commands but teaching me what the commands mean and what not much thanks appreciated.
