Hosts file and Squid
Hi,
My network is connected to Squid Proxy who serves the internet.
Now, I have 2 domains, domain1.com and domain1.ph,
When im at US, CA, domain1.com will display, but when Im in philippines, its will display the .ph even I type .com, however the .ph is new and site is under development.
Now, to view the content of the .ph, I set my machine (windows) hosts file
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx domain1.ph
But when I tried to visit domain1.ph it redirects me to domain1.com, this only happens when I connected to squid. But if I connected to other network/ wifi, it displays the .ph site.
The server where .ph is live server with internet IP. but didnt configure it yet on DNS of .ph
Hope you can help with this issue.

why would it redirect from .com to .ph and vice-versa depending on your location? This can be done only if it's written in the code of the website. Maybe you can just disable that feature until you finish doing whatever you do?
