Accessing a file server through a ldap+samba server

    Hello everybody.

I have a server with ldap + samba (like PDC) and a file server.

I wanna know if I have to install samba in the file server and configure it to consult the ldap+samba server, especially the users or access groups.

    Thanks for the help.

You will need to install samba server and the ldap client. Then configure samba to use ldap authentication.
If you are only running linux machines, you can also share using nfs.
