Cannot execute files on web server.Since we got only 644 permission!

We have a website which is hosted on an unix based server by a third party provider. By default, they gave only 644 permission for any file stored on any directories in the web server.
We are about to create an automatic online code compiling site which should get the user uploaded .c or .cpp file and compile it using gcc (or any other compiler) and produce the output to the user.
Since we were not able to get the approval to execute the files on the server from the server vendor, is there any other way for us to automate these processes, to compile and produce the output to the program codes uploaded by the users ?

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
Get another provider? Install your own server? If they won't allow your account execute permissions, then you are out of luck unless you grossly violate their terms of service, in which case you are probably liable for serious costs, legally and otherwise!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
