Hello all,
I am looking for help. I am (almost) newby with samba although I installed it 10 times without any problem in my life. But right now I have a problem with a brand new server. Here is the situation :
General info :

OS : CentOS 6
Firewall with samba service allowed
3 windows clients in a workgroup named FREEMANSART

What I did :

I have created samba users ( = to unix accounts) :
I have added a pair <account> = <account> in /etc/samba/smbpasswd
I have run smbpasswd -a <account>

A word about clients :

windows 7 64 bit and XP 32 in FREEMANSART workgroup . Session is run with account equal to unix account

And here are the problems :
- I can see the 'homes' share from windows file browser but can't open it, I get this error message : 'Windows ne peut pas accéder à \\<SERVEUR>\<COMPTE>'
- I can see the 'home' share : /home/ and go to /home/tmp/ which a subfolder with 777 permissions. I open it but there are no files displayed (alhtough there are files in it), only its subdirectories. If I try to create a file I get this error message : Vous devez disposer d'une autorisation pour effectuer cette action'.

Thank you if you've read up to here. And thanks a lot for any clue.
Ghislain
