I cannot update my hostname.
when I type:
Code:
hostname
it will display my current hostname. When I type:
Code:
sudo hostname mactruck.me
and then I do
Code:
hostname
It ...

Hostname will not update.
I cannot update my hostname.
when I type:
it will display my current hostname. When I type:Code:hostname
and then I doCode:sudo hostname mactruck.me
It will display mactruck.meCode:hostname
When I reboot it reverts back to my old hostname.
Any thoughts?

awesome, I updated the /etc/hostname file and it worked.
