Searches haven't turned up much, so I'd like to see if anyone here knows about the restrictions which are making my Postfix installation give a NOQUEUE message for new email addresses.

When initially sent, emails are told to "Please try later"

After fifteen or twenty minutes, when a connection is made from the same relay server and IP address, it looks like the greylist=update message allows the queue to become active and the message is delivered shortly after.

whatcha think? Here's my restriction setting in my main.cf:

smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
# reject_unknown_sender_domain,
# reject_unknown_recipient_domain,
# reject_non_fqdn_sender,
# reject_non_fqdn_recipient,
# reject_unlisted_recipient,
# check_policy_service
# inet:127.0.0.1:7777,
permit_mynetworks,
permit_sasl_authenticated,
reject_unauth_destination,
# reject_non_fqdn_helo_hostname,
# reject_invalid_helo_hostname,
check_policy_service
inet:127.0.0.1:10031

I've obviously tried commenting out some things, but to no avail. Is there anything else that I can post to shed some light on the subject?

thanks for your help!
