    Weird MySQL CPU usage

I run 2 big forums but my CPU has been fine until 2 weeks ago.
It has been acting strange, I had to set the CDN ( Cloudflare ) to 'Under attack' in order to avoid getting my CPU to 100%.

I'm currently having an i3 on my dedicated server.
As far as I know it should run fine with both forums ( 6k visitors a day, 1k members a day )

    That is my CPU usage.
What is the best way to determine if I'm not getting attacked or such?

    I also have MySQL logging enabled. ( /etc/my.cnf )

You could run "show processlist" on a connected mysql client. Maybe that gives a clue who's working hard on your database. Any connected client should be listed there. A good start could also be to enable the logging of slow queries. Maybe there's a performance problem in the forum's database that you are not aware of (i.e. missing indexes, silly nested subqueries, where clauses on columns that shouldn't be used for filtering, ..).
