    DHCP leased for fixed addrsss

    Hi

    In linux DHCP server, there is option to:
    default-lease-time 3600;
    max-lease-time 3600;

    my question is, if im setting the lease time to 3600 seconds and i also have fixed address's (reservation), the servers with the fixed address will try to renew their IP address every 3600 seconds, like any other ip from that DHCP pool?

    Thanks!

    First answer would be yes.
    It might be possible to have different lease times for your two cases, via e.g. subgroups.
    You must always face the curtain with a bow.
