Need help regarding caching server of http, https, p2p .... we recently bought a caching server but the problem is that the person who sold us the caching server don't give us any root password and charge us around $300 per month for nothing ... but at this point i got the root password please some1 help me with this .... the purpose of the caching server was to cache youtube videos via https/http and bit/utorrent data to help reduce the bandwidth
" uname -a " gave me the details : linux cache flash os, Linux/gnu kernel 3.2.33
the person who sold us just gave a flash os "details given above " and tells us to boot the device with the same flash os and put ip and gave them the remote ... the rest they use to do ....

I can give you ssh or send you the flash os .....

Your post is not clear enough. You say you now have the root password for the device? And you can login as root? So, what is the problem, precisely? Try to be clear and complete!

Configuring http/https is not necessarily simple - what you need to do depends entirely upon what your needs are. RTFM. There are a myriad of documents on the internet to explain how to do this - my telling you the basics is not a good use of resources... That said, visit the Apache web site - they have a tonne of documents to help you with what you need. As for P2P, that is another issue entirely, and is just a generic description of point-to-point communications. Sorry, but without more targeted information as to what you want to accomplish, that is as good as you are going to get!
