procmail wont stop forwarding emails
I have a problem with my mail servers and forwarding emails
Originally my servers were set up like this:
I have one mail server that receives email for many accounts
One of these accounts forwarded a copy of its email to another server
The second server(that was receiving copies) no longer exists, however, the main mail server is still trying to send copies. As a result for every email that is sent I get an undeliverable mail also.
I removed .forward from the account
I deleted the forwarding line from the account's .procmailrc
There are no aliases set up that I can see in the /etc/aliases file.
The mail server is running Ubuntu.
Do I have to restart any services for this to take effect? Or are there other locations that I should check for forwarding that I dont know about?
Thanks for your help.
