    sub-domain to Barracuda not working.

    Hi forum, I am trying to get two bind servers setup to communicate with a sub-domain on my Barracuda gslb load balancer. However when I query the load balancers I don't get a response back.

    The two bind servers are running
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 (Santiago)
    BIND 9.8.2rc1-RedHat-9.8.2-0.17.rc1.el6_4.6

    here is a snipit from my configuration file. I have to hide some information as this is on a live site.
    Code:
    testapps        IN CNAME   testapps.gslb.nfib.org.

    gslb.nfib.org. IN NS ns1.gslb.nfib.org.
    gslb.nfib.org. IN NS ns2.gslb.nfib.org.

    ns1.gslb.nfib.org. IN A 10.20.255.64 ;Load Balancer 1
    ns2.gslb.nfib.org. IN A 10.5.255.64   ;Load Balancer 2
    This is the response that I get from my workstation
    Code:
    C:\Users\Family>nslookup
    Default Server:  nshpdc01.nfib.msft
    Address:  <hidden>

    > server dns1.nfib.org
    Default Server:  dns1.nfib.org
    Address:  <hidden>

    > testapps.nfib.org
    Server:  dns1.nfib.org
    Address:  <hidden>

    Name:    testapps.nfib.org
    Served by:
    - ns2.gslb.nfib.org
              <hidden>
              gslb.nfib.org
    - ns1.gslb.nfib.org
              <hidden>
              gslb.nfib.org

    at this point I am at a loss. I have read just about every article I can from Barracuda's site to Brocade and Citrix.

    Can someone see if I am missing anything. Thanks

    Ok I was able to resolve the issue. Looks like there were several issues. The first was that I needed to change the ns1 and ns2 to be publicly reachable. Then I need to change testapps from IN CNAME to jus IN NS and point it to the NS servers. The other problem was that I had the MGMT interface resolving queries. After fixing those issues everything worked.
