    PHP function exec enabled, how big issue?


    Hello, on a public hosting server if a exec function is enabled globally (i cant find how to enable for one account only) what can be done and abused if its enabled? any link or article on this topic? thx

    More information about what you are trying to accomplish would be helpful. In any case, some PHP logic (a function) to validate that the user id has permission to make exec() calls is not difficult, but it depends upon your PHP and HTML code.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
