All, I have been beaten into submission by my reverse proxy and after reading apache's documentation I am even more frustrated. I am hoping you can help. First here are the links that I have been using to get my information.

Running a Reverse Proxy in Apache

mod_proxy - Apache HTTP Server Version 2.4

What I am trying to do is use a reverse proxy to access my TFS server, Jira Server and Confluence server from a single namespace.

IE dev.example.com/ and dev.example.com/tfs will both go to my internal tfs server tfs.internal.local

dev.example.com/jira will go to http://jiraserver.internal.local:8080/secure

dev.example.com/confluence will go to http://jiraserver.internal.local:8090

What So Far I have been trying to get jira working. What I have so far is the following from a virtualhost prespective. I get the page but when I look at the access log I see entries like the

[04/Sep/2014:14:24:42 -0500] "GET /s/d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e-T/en_US-5y2yjx/6329/4/1.2.11/_/download/batch/com.atlassian.labs.hipchat.hipchat-for-jira-plugin:resources/com.atlassian.labs.hipchat.hipchat-for-jira-plugin:resources.js HTTP/1.1" 404 480 "http://dev.example.com/jira/Dashboard.jspa" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_4) AppleWebKit/537.78.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0.6 Safari/537.78.2"

Code:
<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerName dev.example.com
    ServerAlias dev
    <Proxy *>
        Order deny,allow
        Allow from all
    </Proxy>
    ProxyRequests Off

    # Working Solution
    ProxyPass /jira http://nshvdjra01.internal.local:8080/secure
    <Location /jira>
        ProxyHTMLExtended On
        SetOutputFilter proxy-html
        ProxyPassReverse  http://nshvdjra01.internal.local:8080/secure
        RequestHeader unset Accept-Encoding
    </Location>
</VirtualHost>
Any help I could get would be great. If I use <Location /s> ProxyPass http://jira.internal.local:8080/</Location> I get the stylesheets but the problem I will run into is that I have to use a <Location /images>ProxyPass http://jira.internal.local:8080 </Location> to get it to work which I got a feeling will conflict with the other sites that I will add.

How can I get that to work under the <Location /jira> section?
