    SUSE and Apache


    I am planning on setting up a webserver using SUSE and apache... my question is do i need to use a version of apache that is specific to my version of suse (9.1) or can i just use the latest released version?

    If you are using a binary package (like an rpm) then yes you should.
    but if you are compiling from source, the latest version should be fine.
