Network login redhat(x) to debian server
hello,
This is my problem.now i have linux servers in my company and windows client..but now i wanna get off the windows clients and replace them with linux clients(redhat). Now is my question: How can i make it so that if users login on redhat client it uses the user data from the linuxserver(debian). Just like windows NT does. SO no telnetting involved.
thnx,
Crooky

Have you already looked into Samba server? Permissions can be down to individual user by read, read and execute or read execute, and right etc... with usr/pwd features.
