Apache, PHP, MySql under Linux Slackware 10.0

the php is working as well

... now i got stuck with MySql,

i downloaden Mysql 4.1.10 ... how can i install MySql ?

I would download the slackware package
http://www.slackware.com/pb/download...4.0.23a-i486-1
then do like before with pkgtool
or install http://freshmeat.net/projects/slaptget/ and you can do

slapt-get --install mysql

I assume the mysql package from mysql requires ./configure, make, make install

i don't have internet connection on that machine so the slapt-get won't work ..... i need a step by step tutorial to install MySql " i'm a newbie to linux " can you please help ?

then where ever you saved it
