IRCD Auto Op users
Thanks to adrenaline I got my Email all sorted out...
I'm on a new system IRCD...
I have set the O line properly to set the operator but it does not set me as an OP unless I am the first user on the channel.
Tried both with encrypted and clear text in the password field but neither seems to give op status to me when logged in with the password.
It won't even give me a WRONG PASSWORD error when connecting with the nick that was set.
I want to be able to set up OP status for two users...
I have noticed that there is no IRCD file in the Pam.d folder...
Do I have to make one and if so which of the ones in there can I use as a guide to start from?
Another potential problem I noticed is that Suse 9.2 pro doesn't install ident.d apparently...
It's in the Xinet.d section in YAST but there is no file for it in the actual inet.d folder.
Could this be why the O Line in the IRCD config isn't working?
In windows I could assign channel ops to each channel.
Is that possible at all with IRCD?
Or should I be looking for something a little more meaty to use for this service?
