Thanks. Based on some other posts, my username that I set up for samba also must be a username setup for linux. I think that is why it didn't work ...

IF your using Suse 9.2 you can do this via Yast in the network services Samba Server section

Okay, that worked. I can log in and access the suse box from the winXP PC. The suse printers are both available too. When I tried to log in from the other winXP PC, I get an error saying I must first disconnect any other connections. How do I disconnect the first PC so I can log in from the other PC or should I set up a user account for each physical PC?
